Do you have school-aged children to keep busy while school is out in March? Plan your PEI getaway for fun outings, entertainment and March Break memories.
1. Swim, slide & splash
A waterslide is an absolute for a ton of fun. PEI has three public pools along with several hotels with a pool and waterslide.

2. Visit a petting farm
Meet local hobby farmers who want to share their passion for animals.
- Alexander and Darlene’s Farm Haven – Stanley Bridge (by appointment)
- Beach Goats – St. Chrysostome
- Island Hill Farm – Hampshire (Tuesday to Friday & craft workshops on Saturday)
- Whispering Hope Farm – Ellerslie (Saturday afternoon and by appointment)

3. Go bowling

4. Skate outdoors
In Summerside, you can borrow skates at Credit Union Place reception. PEI residents can borrow skates from public libraries.
5. Hit the slopes
Visit the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale for Alpine skiing, snowboarding, fat biking, tubing and snowshoeing. Special pricing from March 15 to 23. See online store starting Feb. 19, 2025.

Trace your ancestry, explore art or learn about PEI's heritage through permanent and visiting exhibits.
- Acadian Museum – Miscouche (Tuesday to Friday & Sunday)
- Eptek Art & Culture Centre features an exhibit of Historic, Vintage & Reproduction Clothing - Summerside
- Beaconsfield Historic House - one of Charlottetown’s most elegant homes from the 1800s.
- Confederation Centre Art Gallery showcases the Young Masters, an exhibit of independent artworks by grade 12 art students.
9. Play indoors

10. Take in a show or sporting event during March Break
