Food on the Farm: Bread and Butter

About this Experience

Experience the process of making Scottish sourdough bread and the butter to put on it. Meet our farmyard animals and milk the goats at the milking station. Grind grain into flour and create your bread in community hall kitchen, then use a small, table-top churn to turn the cream into butter. While the bread is baking, learn about our historical gardens and the food grown here. Create a cutting board in our woodshop, then use it to serve a delicious snack of your own hand-made bread and butter! Fun for the whole family! Groups welcome.
