About this Property

Our specialties are knitting (mitts, socks) and fine woodworking, (clocks, pen stands, turnings including cutting boards, plates, bowls, and various kinds of art pieces.) Wood for use with food is finished with suitable food safe products. The museum features information and displays representing the history of Indigenous, Acadian, and later European arrivals to the area. Another part of the museum features the history of radio on PEI with numerous restored radios and radio station equipment. A community trail next to the museum links the social and natural history sites of the area.
