The Farmers' Bank of Rustico, is a community museum and historic site, and was the first people’s bank in North America, 1864-1894. Learn about the visionary priest Father Belcourt who greatly helped the Acadians of Rustico. Tour PEI’s oldest house, the 1772 Doucet Log House. Take part in one of our food experiences – Traditional Acadian Meals in the Doucet House (by reservation) or Butter, Bannock & the Bay daily food demonstration. Check our website for details.
