Hey Brian!

Fellow food lover and full-time professional photographer here. Let’s start off with the easy one - where to get the best fish and chips.

There’s a few different styles of fish and chips served around here depending on your tastes - all great, but all can be very different from each other.

In Charlottetown, one of the classics is the Gahan Pub brown bag fish and chips. The fish is great, but the real stars are the fries that come with it. You’ll know what I mean when you try them.

Another great spot in town is Brits Fish and Chips - can choose multiple types of fish, great tartar sauce, a Charlottetown classic.

One of the best fish and chips on the Island is found at Richard’s in Covehead - world-famous, kind of! Light and airy but crispy and dense at the same time. The view here is great too - right on an actual working wharf.

Which brings up our next topic - photos!

Covehead Lighthouse next to Richard’s is a great spot - especially at sunset.

I’ve spent a lot of time on the north shore creating images for my portfolio - basically anywhere from East Point (the furthest tip east) all the way to Cousin’s Shore (about halfway west of the Island near Park Corner) has guaranteed spectacular views and lots of them. Lots of cliffs, rolling sand dunes and easily accessible vantage points in this area. Sunsets are just different on the north shore - you’ll know what I mean when you experience one for yourself.

Hope that helps!
