What is a kitchen party at the legion?

Hello from PEI,

Thank you for reaching out!

A kitchen party is a fun night of live entertainment based on old fashioned parties that Islanders would host in their kitchens. It can be local musicians or special guest bands. It is usually traditional music; guitars, fiddles, mandolins and singing. Dancing is sure to be a part of it as well!

Regards,

Valerie Flynn

Asked: I will be visiting Souris in early July 2024. I would love to take in a traditional lobster boil ( if that’s the correct wording , with the potatoes and corn and sea food ). Is there a local area known for offering this?
