Hi Allie,

Thank you for reaching out on Ask An Islander.

There are many antique stores on PEI, so I will list a few in each area of the Island.

One of my favourites is 'Rose Cottage Antiques and Gifts' in Summerside. Their displays are lovely and they feature furniture, china, linens and vintage Christmas ornaments. Also in the area is 'Read's Corner Antiques'.

Further west you will find 'Flippin' Vintage' which is a fun mix of handcrafts and antiques. In the Borden Carleton area there is 'Island Uniquities and Antiques'. I haven't been to this shop but the name sure is intriguing!
On the north shore you can find 'Bayview Antiques' in Stanley Bridge and 'Lupin Valley Cowshed Antiques' in North Rustico. En route to Charlottetown, stop in 'Robin's Nest Antiques' on the Trans Canada highway in Cornwall.

In Souris, close to the eastern tip of the Island you will find 'Timeless Treasures Antiques & More'.There is also a cute thrift store 'Second Time Around'. A half hour away, in Montague, you will find 'Linda's New to You Thrift Store' in the Downeast Mall. Charlottetown has three thrift stores - 'Value Village', 'Mission Thrift' and 'Repeats Quality Used Family Clothing'. In the village of Crapaud, there is 'Church Mouse Thrift Shop'. In Summerside, my cousins love 'R&S Frenchy's'.

I am certain there are other antique and thrift stores on PEI, but this list should keep you busy for a week or two.

I invite you to download or order our 2024 visitor’s guide. You can always stay in touch by signing up for the Tourism PEI newsletter which includes details on upcoming festivals and events and recipes too!

Enjoy!
