We plan visiting PEI in September... Is everything open at that time...camping grounds, parks...?

Hello Chantal,
Thank you for reaching out to Ask an Islander. September is a wonderful time to visit PEI. The weather is still quite nice, things slow down just a bit and it's harvest season!
The PEI Provincial Parks are open until late September and some stay open into the first week of October. Many privately run campgrounds stay open later into October.
There is still lots to do in September, only a few of the water based amusement parks close right after Labour Day. If you're here late in September, check out the Fall Flavours Festival! It goes from September 26th - October 12th.
Visit lighthouses, go to a Ceilidh, walk on our beautiful beaches, even swim! For more ideas on what to do while you're here, visit the Tourism Prince Edward Island website under 'what to do'.
See you in September!
