I have walked the Coast to Coast in England and the Camino. Both times I had a company haul my backpack and arrange accommodations. Does such a service exist for the PEI walk?

Hello Evelyn,
I am pleased to hear that you are interested in doing the Island Walk.
It is possible that not all of your chosen overnight stops will have accommodation in the immediate area. Therefore, it is suggested that perhaps in some sections, you stay in one accommodation/campground for more than one night and arrange transportation to and from the particular section of the trail/walk each day.
Currently, there are two local businesses offering trip coordination services including booking accommodation and luggage transfers. I am sure more will be added as well.
You can contact them directly at:
Outer Limit Sports: [email protected]
Experience PEI: [email protected]
For more specific information, you can contact the folks at the Island Walk at [email protected]
They also have a great Facebook Page and Facebook Group to join that many walkers talk about their experiences.
It might also be helpful to visit the Tourism PEI website at tourismpei.com. And of course, we are always here if you need some assistance, so please feel free to reach back through email or call us at 1 800-463-4734 and we will be more than happy to help you out.
I hope this has answered your questions.
Kind regards,
Jennifer
