Is there any ferry device between PEI and New Brunswick?

Hi Frank,

Thank you for reaching out! There is no longer ferry service from Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick. We now have the Confederation Bridge which opened May 31st, 1997. The bridge connects PEI to New Brunswick over the southern part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The bridge is about 8 miles long and takes about 10-12 minutes to cross.

If you are looking for a ferry experience, PEI has a ferry crossing from Wood Islands to Caribou, Nova Scotia, and then it is about a four-hour drive to New Brunswick.

Take care,

Valerie
