If you had just one day on PEI, what would you do to make the most of your day?

Greetings from Prince Edward Island,

Thank you for your question. There is so much to see and do on Prince Edward Island-where do we start! Depending on your interests, we have museums, parks, beaches, coastal drives, culture, and lighthouses. You can learn about everything there is to see and do here.

Be sure to hit at least one of Prince Edward Island's iconic beaches. Cavendish, Basin Head and Thunder Cove are a few of my favorites, and the beautiful red sand of Canoe Cove and Argyle Shore is a south shore regulars for me.

Eat amazing seafood! There's an abundance of restaurants offering fresh seafood and local produce.

Wander around Charlottetown, our capital city. The boardwalk from Peake's Quay to Victoria Park (passing through some historic residential parts of the city) has fantastically beautiful scenery! Our city is full of unique restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, and there are fun things to discover like the Confederation Players walking tour, and free entertainment at places like Peake's Quay, Victoria Row (the city's pedestrian-only street), and the Confederation Centre of the Arts' outdoor amphitheater.

There are beautiful scenic routes across Prince Edward Island, however, I have to say my favorite has to be Route 6 from Brackley Beach to New London. You'll drive along the coast and through small villages. When you reach New London, take a right onto Route 20 and you'll pass through French River and Park Corner. To me, this is the most beautiful area of our Island!

We hope you enjoy your day on Prince Edward Island.
