How do I get from Tignish PEI to Charlottetown Airport?

Thank you for your inquiry to Ask an Islander. There are two options to get from Tignish to the airport:
Book a seat in advance with Transit PEI for only $2. Yes, you are reading that correctly!. There is a pick up from the Credit Union Arena in Tignish three times daily to Charlottetown. Get off at the mall (Royalty Crossing) and transfer to another bus to the airport. Google Maps indicates the route to be #11. The bus driver can confirm and estimate the time of next arrival of #11 at the bus shelter. As this is a transfer, you do not need to pay another $2 unless you want to spend some time exploring nearby shopping first.
Alternatively, you can book a cab from Tignish. I'm not sure of the price but you can call to ask in advance. Find the complete list of taxis at TourismPEI.com/getting-around.
