Lisa Campbell
Were you born and raised on Prince Edward Island?
I was born in Montague, PEI and have lived in the province all of my life.
What does your average day look like?
Typically, my day begins with grabbing a coffee and a muffin to enjoy while I drive 40 minutes to work. I truly appreciate the commute because it allows me to take in the beautiful scenery that the Island offers and it is a great way to experience the changing seasons.
What is your favorite thing about life on PEI?
My favourite thing about life on PEI is the people. I have met numerous wonderful people over the years and Islanders are truly a unique brand. They are friendly, curious and even sometimes a bit quirky, but you will never find a prouder and more passionate group of folks who will bend over backward to help out others.
What is something people wouldn’t know if they are not from PEI?
I think many people have no idea how much the Island changes during the various seasons – the number of people here, employment opportunities, etc.
What are you passionate about?
Personally, I am passionate about family and friends and about helping people by sharing all that this beautiful Island has to offer. The tranquility of nature is the best free therapy available.
If you were to choose one spot on the Island to take someone who has never been here before, where would it be?
One of my favorite places is Panmure Island beach. I love the smell of salt air, the sound of the waves reaching the shore, the feel of the sand between my toes and the warm sunshine on my face. Ahhh, heaven!
