Step back in time to 1732. Imagine the rugged coastlines of PEI, then known as Isle St. Jean. A visionary Frenchman named Jean Pierre Roma and his crew of settlers, fishermen and workers arrive to Brudenell Point with dreams of prosperity and international trade.Today, his legacy is unveiled in reconstructed buildings, captivating stories, heritage music and hands-on experiences. Visitors can learn essential outdoor bushcraft, join a foraging walking tour of the trails or knit a fishing net.
Savour early French cuisine including bread baked in an outdoor oven. Restaurant serves lunch, 12-1:30 pm, and afternoon sweets, 2-4pm. Open daily (except Mondays).
